Kirkcudbright Book Week 2024 has come to end and we would like to thank everyone who did so much to make it a success.
From authors to venue managers, audiences to volunteers, arts professionals to journalists, business owners to societies, writing groups to funding organisations, you all played your part in creating a buzz around the town and we at the Kirkcudbright Book Week Society wish to say ‘thank you’ to every one of you.
So, you’d imagine that we were going to take the opportunity to have a sit down in a darkened room now that it’s finished then?
Well, not quite. No, our thoughts are turning to the fourth Book Week 2025, which will run between March 3-9 2025, including on the Thursday of that week World Book Day for young readers and writers.
We are already involved in discussions about all sorts of exciting ideas so watch this space!
