Book launch celebrates poet’s work

Poetry lovers still have plenty of opportunity to acquire tickets for the launch of a book celebrating the famed Galloway poet William Neill.

The new collection of the poet’s work will be launched on Wednesday March 6 at the Selkirk Arms in High Street. The event, which is part of Kirkcudbright Book Week, will take place at 2pm.

Collected Poems has been editedby Tom Hubbard and Ian Spring and published by Rymour. Some of those involved will read from, and discuss, the writer’s work.

Although this is a free event, booking is recommended. Tickets, including for free events which require them, can be acquired via Eventbrite at http://www.eventbrite.co.uk or you can follow the link direct from  www.kirkcudbrightbookweek.org at https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/kirkcudbright-book-week-2024-2757849
