Cheers!

Do you want to escape the dreary cold weather and drift off into the boating world in Spain? If so, you can join author Linda Wheatley to enjoy some Spanish music, free non-alcoholic sangria  and olives as she talks for an hour about her experiences writing Reaching Out Across the Waves (Troubadour Publishing), a romantic fiction novel set in southern Spain, and how the characters came about.

Part of Kirkcudbright Book Week, the event takes place at 11am on Wednesday March 6 at Feast Cafe 32, St Cuthbert Street (Tickets £5) and you can also learn about the Spanish artist whose unique paintings feature during key areas within some chapters, and watch the video accompanying the song from the book to see the character Jess visiting some of the amazing places which are close to her heart

Feast’s range of Mediterranean snacks, cakes and drinks will also be available to purchase.

How to acquire tickets Tickets, including for free events which require them, can be acquired via Eventbrite at http://www.eventbrite.co.uk or you can follow the link direct from  www.kirkcudbrightbookweek.org at https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/kirkcudbright-book-week-2024-2757849
